The Science one 1 ltd is the culmination of everything Mike Stewart has learned about board design over the last twenty years.
It features a contoured deck to optimize correct body posture, holding you in during critical turns and riding.The exclusive “Lock” a small cup like cushion that surrounds your elbow, locking it in the key riding position.
Deck and hull hand bulbs, at the front of the board enhance your grip.
A rear deck channel clutches your legs yet still allows for easy weight distribution.
Inside the board is an extruded Polypropylene core with a composite stringer.
All this works in conjunction with a highly refined template to create a very functional system for performance.
Special features on the LTD board:
All the features of the Science MS1 in addition to the exclusive compression cell technology: the compression cells are soft absorbing cells held in a structured Polypropylene core matrix.
The compression cells are placed under the elbows and in strategic areas of the board prone to impact.
The decks of all Ltd boards feature a semi-transparent deck that reveals the compression cells configuration.
The additional function of the cells is to provide greater traction on the deck minimizing the necessity of wax.
The slightly raised convex cells provide a subtle yet effective grip on the body.
The Delta / Bat tail adds a bit more speed and bouyancy, and is easier to turn.

A V2 Foil is a V. Foil and Flat Foil blend. It takes the best speed generating attributes of the V. (at the base) and transitions into a flat foil in the tip for a controlled release in critical turns. Try the V2 foil if you are transitioning from flat sided fins. The benefits of the V. foil base will be noticeable but the change for your muscle memory will not be too drastic.
